The Santa Clara Woman’s Club brings together women of diversified backgrounds who work together for the betterment of our community through creative and constructive endeavors. Our club gives us opportunities for knowledge and awareness of our community, fosters lifelong friendships, and provides a framework for working with other community service organizations.
We strive to make our community a better place. Some of the ways we do this are:
- Mary S. Taylor/Ruth Frey Nursing Scholarship
- Sponsorship to Northern California Youth Leadership Seminar
- Financial aid/gifts in kind to local families in need
- Contributions to other community service organizations
Meetings are held the first Friday of every month [except July & August] at The Adobe, 3260 The Alameda, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Business is conducted, followed by lunch prepared by members.
The meeting concludes with a short program/guest speaker on a variety of interesting topics. Additionally, evening meetings are held by the Hacienda section.
The Adobe is a Registered California State Landmark [#249]. The original adobe architecture and charming garden make a beautiful setting for small meetings and special events.
